How long does it take to build a website with Forge?
Delivery dates are agreed in the written proposal. Scope, content readiness, approvals, integrations and third-party services affect the schedule; a three-week build may suit a small, well-defined project but is not a universal commitment.
What does Forge cost?
New websites start from R 20,000 for the defined scope. We confirm the fixed project price, exclusions, recurring costs and milestones in writing. Changes and automation or AI add-ons are quoted separately. Forge builds new sites; send us your requirements for a proposal.
Do I need to have already run a getohdit audit before using Forge?
It helps but isn't required. Forge builds are strongest when scoped from real findings - compliance gaps, conversion issues, missing structured data - but you can also start directly by sending us your requirements if you already know what you need.
Is the website built to a POPIA-ready standard?
We can include consent controls, privacy-notice layouts and form safeguards in the agreed scope. Draft legal content requires your own qualified adviser or Information Officer to review and approve it. A website build cannot establish organisational POPIA compliance or certify a PAIA manual.
What's the difference between Forge and a typical web agency?
Forge uses AI-assisted design, copy and code with human review of the build. That review is not independent legal verification. Profession-specific wording requires client approval with appropriately qualified advice. The written proposal defines scope, price and milestones.
Can Forge build AI agents or chatbots for my business?
Yes. Forge builds company-specific AI knowledge assistants trained on your documents, policies, pricing, and FAQs, plus automation workflows (booking systems, Twilio integrations, CRM connections) tailored to how your business actually operates.
Do you work with businesses outside South Africa?
Forge is built and based in Cape Town with South African compliance (POPIA, industry-specific rules) as a default, but the website, automation, and AI agent services apply to any business - local presence isn't a requirement to work with us.
What happens after the website launches?
You own the site outright - no vendor lock-in. Ongoing options include monthly monitoring, automation maintenance, and iterative improvements, all scoped and quoted separately rather than bundled into a mandatory retainer.
